Kakegurui was an anime series that premiered in 2017, based on a manga of the same name. It was set in Hyakkaō Private Academy, where students from wealthy families engaged in high-stakes gambling as part of their education. The story followed Yumeko Jabami, a new student who challenged the school's gambling hierarchy and aimed to teach her peers what it meant to be a true high-roller.
