Jinki:Extend was an action-oriented anime series set in a science-fiction universe. It followed the story of Aoba, a young girl passionate about building robots, who was kidnapped and taken to a secret base. There, she discovered a massive robot and became involved in battles against Ancient-Jinki in The Grand Savanna, with the true purpose behind these conflicts remaining hidden.

The show featured voice performances from actors such as Fumiko Orikasa as Aoba Tsuzaki, Takuma Takewaka as Ryouhei Ogawara, and Tomoko Kawakami as Elnie Tachibana.
