Jin was a Japanese fantasy, medical, and historical drama that originally premiered on October 11, 2009. The show followed a brain surgeon named Minakata Jin who, after a personal tragedy, was transported back in time to the Edo period. There, he faced numerous challenges, including medical emergencies and interactions with historical figures, while trying to find a way back to his own time.
The series starred Takao Osawa as Jin Minakata and Haruka Ayase as Saki Tachibana. The show had a runtime of approximately 69 minutes per episode.
