Haunted Junction was a comedy anime series that aired in 1997. It was set in Saito High School, a school inhabited by spiritual beings, where a group of students known as the Holy Student Council was tasked with protecting the school from supernatural threats. The series followed the humorous and often wacky adventures of students like Haruto Houjo, who could summon spirits, Kazumi Ryodo, who was skilled at being possessed, and Mutsuki Asahina, an exorcist attracted to small boys, as they navigated their duties and personal problems.
The cast included Katsuaki Arima as Haruto Houjo, Shinnosuke Furumoto as Kazumi "Kazuo" Ryudo, and Mariko Kouda as Hanako.
