Happy New Year, MacarMo was a romance series that premiered in January 2025. It told the story of Lu Xiaomu, an inheritor of Huamomo's intangible cultural heritage, and Ren Yaqi, a pastry chef who returned from abroad. Through a series of humorous blind dates, they unexpectedly reunited and formed a partnership to create MacarMo, a fusion of Eastern and Western flavors. As their fake relationship gradually turned into genuine affection, they explored the balance between tradition and innovation while pursuing their dreams and discovering love.
