It tells the story of Qi Cheng, a talented cartoonist who suffers from social phobia and prefers solitude, much like a cat living alone in a bungalow. The narrative explores his struggles with social interactions and his desire to connect with others.

The story also features Chi Zhi Han, a popular food blogger who becomes Qi Cheng's private chef after a bowl of Yang Chun Noodle. Through their contract and shared living space, Chi Zhi Han uses her genuine affection to help Qi Cheng overcome his fears and step outside after ten years of isolation.
