Set in the mid 1800s during the colonial period of the Dutch East Indies, Grisse was a drama and action series that aired in 2018. It told the story of a group of unlikely individuals who led a rebellion against a brutal governor and unexpectedly found themselves in control of a Dutch garrison town called Grisse. The show focused on the diverse characters, each from different backgrounds and creeds, who united in their fight to determine their own destiny away from tyranny.
