About Eek! the Cat
Eek! the Cat ended on August 1, 1997, on FOX. The show concluded after five seasons, with its final episode airing on that date.
Eek! the Cat was a comedy series that aired from 1992 to 1997. It was set in a cartoon world and followed the adventures of Eek, a chubby purple cat whose motto was "It never hurts to help." The series spoofed many movies and TV shows, often featuring Eek getting into humorous and sometimes painful situations. The show also included the Thunderlizards, a group of misfit dinosaurs attempting to destroy two cavemen, Bill and Scooter, but always failing in their plans. Scooter was frequently trying to demonstrate his new inventions, adding to the comedic chaos.
The cast included Bill Kopp as Eek the Cat, Elizabeth Daily as Wendy Elizabeth, Charlie Adler as J.B., and Tawny Kitaen as Annabelle. The series had a runtime of approximately 30 minutes per episode.
