About Married... with Children
Married... with Children ended on June 9, 1997, after its 11th season. The show concluded its run on FOX, bringing an end to over a decade of offbeat humor and satirical portrayal of middle-class life.
Married... with Children was a comedy series that aired from 1987 to 1997. It was known for its unflinching honesty and unconventional depiction of a dysfunctional family. The series followed Al Bundy, a shoe salesman who often reminisced about his brief football fame, and his wife Peggy, who spent their money at salons and malls. Their children, Kelly and Bud, added to the chaos with Kelly's superficiality and Bud's egocentrism. The show offered a humorous, sometimes controversial look at everyday life and the struggles of the Bundy family.
