Is Dance of the Sky Empire coming back?

Dance of the Sky Empire ended on August 6, 2020, after its first season aired from July 8 to August 6, 2020. The show is not currently scheduled to return.

The series was a fantasy romance set during the prosperous Tang Dynasty, where humans and demons coexisted. It told the story of Moyun Academy, the top institution in Great Tang, and centered around Li Xuan, a lowly student who was unexpectedly accepted into the academy. The plot revolved around Li Xuan, a human-demon hybrid, whose presence threatened the fragile peace between humans and demons. Throughout the series, Li Xuan, along with demon spy Su Youlian and Long Wei'er, developed complex relationships as Li Xuan grew into a hero and faced difficult choices about his loyalty.

The cast included Xu Kai as Li Xuan, Wu Jia Yi as Su You Lian, Hani Kezi as Yun Shan, Zhou Jun Chao as Xiao Feng Ming, Li Jun Chen as Yu Feng Mu, and Yu Xin Tong as Long Wei Er. The show had a runtime of approximately 45 minutes per episode. It did not have a rated score on TVMaze.
