Centurions was an animated action series that premiered in 1986. It was targeted at children and combined elements of science fiction and adventure. The story was set in the near future, where heroes used advanced exoframes to combat the villain Doc Terror and his cyborg accomplice Hacker, who sought to conquer Earth. The protagonists—Ace McCloud, Max Ray, and Jake Rockwell—transformed into powerful fighting machines to defend the world from the deadly cyborg threat.
