Brain Powerd was a science-fiction anime series that premiered in 1998. It was a story set in a world where an alien spaceship called Orphan was rising from the ocean, causing natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes. The show focused on the conflict between the Reclaimers, who supported Orphan, and the U.N.'s Novis Noah, as they fought over the use of robotic organisms called Antibodies—namely, the brutish Grand Chers and the intelligent Brain Powerd. The narrative centered on two teenagers, Hime and Yuu, as they sought to uncover the true purpose behind Orphan and Brain Powerd.

The cast included Murata Akino as Hime Utsumiya, Tetsu Shiratori as Yuu Isami, and Gou Aoba as Jonathan Green. Other actors featured Kumiko Watanabe, Maria Kawamura, Romi Park, Run Sasaki, and Shiho Nagoshi.
