Beautiful Life was a drama and romance series that aired in 2000. It told the story of Kyoko, a young woman with an unbreakable spirit despite being confined to a wheelchair due to illness, and Shuji, a fashionable and popular hairstylist working for a magazine. The series explored their unlikely romance, which began after a traffic accident brought them together. Despite their differences and the challenges posed by Kyoko's protective older brother and her worsening health, their relationship developed as they found strength in each other.
The cast included Takako Tokiwa as Kyoko Machida and Takuya Kimura as Shuji Okishima. The show had a runtime of approximately 54 minutes per episode.
