It was a historical drama series set toward the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, depicting the story of a rebellion against government corruption. The series followed a group of 108 men and women who fought against oppressive authorities and made their last stand in Liangshan. Premiering in 2011, the show combined elements of action and history to portray the struggles and camaraderie of these characters.
The series featured a cast including Ray Lui as Chao Gai, Zhang Hanyu as Song Jiang, Wang Jianxin as Lu Junyi, Li Zonghan as Wu Yong, Jing Gangshan as Gongsun Sheng, and Bao Li Gao as Guan Sheng. It consisted of one season with 86 episodes, each approximately 45 minutes long. The show did not have a rated score on TVMaze.
