Is Accel World coming back?

Accel World ended on September 21, 2012, after its first season aired on MBS. The series concluded its story at that time, with no current plans for continuation.

The show was a science-fiction anime set in the year 2046. It followed Haruyuki Arita, a boy who felt he was at the lowest social level of his school and sought escape through virtual gaming. His life changed when Kuroyukihime introduced him to a mysterious program called Brain Burst and a virtual reality called the Accel World, which offered new possibilities and challenges.

The series featured a cast including Sachika Misawa as Kuroyuki-hime, Yûki Kaji as Haruyuki Arita, Aki Toyosaki as Kurashima Chiyuri, Shintaro Asanuma as Mayuzumi Takumu, Haruka Tomatsu as Wakamiya Megumi, and Kenichi Suzumura as Ash Roller. It was rated 7.4 on TVMaze and had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode.
