The West Wing is an American political drama television series. It was created by Aaron Sorkin and aired on NBC from September 22, 1999, to May 14, 2006. Martin Sheen, John Spencer, Allison Janney, Rob Lowe, Bradley Whitford, Richard Schiff, Janel Moloney, Dulé Hill, and Stockard Channing were among the stars of the series. The show's ratings waned in later years following the departure of creator after the fourth season. A stage version of the season 3 episode "Hartsfield's Landing", "A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote", premiered on HBO Max in October 2020.
