The Man Show was created in 1999 by Adam Carolla and Jimmy Kimmel. The show celebrated and lampooned the stereotypical loutish male perspective in a sexually charged, humorous light. The first year featured beer-guzzling entertainer Bill "the Fox" Foster as the show's emcee. In 2003, Kimmel and Carolla left the show, with the hosting jobs passed down to comedians Joe Rogan and Doug Stanhope.
