Entertainment Weekly (sometimes abbreviated as EW) is an American digital-only entertainment magazine. The print magazine debuted on February 16, 1990, in New York City, and ceased publication in 2022. In 1996, the magazine won the coveted National Magazine Award for General Excellence from the American Society of Magazine Editors. In September 2016, Entertainment Weekly launched the People/Entertainment Weekly Network.
