Happy Days

Happy Days is an American television sitcom that aired first-run on the ABC network from January 15, 1974, to July 19, 1984. Created by Garry Marshall, it was one of the most successful series of the 1970s. It starred Ron Howard as Richie Cunningham, Henry Winkler as Fonzie, and Tom Bosley and Marion Ross as Richie's parents, Howard and Marion Cunningham. The show is the basis for the Happy Days musical touring the United States since 2008. Happy Days spawned successful television shows Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy.
