When does Flashpoint return?

Flashpoint was created by Mark Ellis and Stephanie Morgenstern for CTV, CBS and Ion Television. The series premiered on CTV in Canada on July 11, 2008. In the United States, the first three seasons and part of the fourth were aired on CBS. The show then aired on Ion Television starting on October 18, 2011. The majority of the cast of Flashpoint are Canadians. Amy Jo Johnson is the only American.
Flashpoint follows a fictional police tactical unit in an unnamed North American metropolis. The SRU is tasked with resolving high-risk situations that regular police units are not capable of effectively handling. The initiation of a given situation is often determined by a split-second decision, hence the show's title.
