The sitcom was a comedy series that followed two young women working as waitresses at a Williamsburg diner. Max Black, a sassy and streetwise woman, and Caroline Channing, a former trust fund princess, formed an unlikely friendship as they tried to raise money to start a cupcake business. The series depicted their efforts to save tips and work through various comedic situations with their coworkers, including the flirtatious Oleg, the elderly Earl, and the eager Han Lee.
The cast included Kat Dennings as Max Black, Beth Behrs as Caroline Channing, Garrett Morris as Earl, Matthew Moy as Han Lee, Jonathan Kite as Oleg, and Jennifer Coolidge as Sophie Kachinsky. The show was rated 7.2 on TVMaze and had a runtime of 30 minutes per episode.
