Nick Jr. is an American morning programming block that airs on Nickelodeon every weekday. It was launched on January 4, 1988. Nick Jr.'s new logo was orange for 'Nick' and blue for 'Jr.' The channel is known on air as the "Nick Jr. Channel" to differentiate the two services. In 2009, a separate channel was launched named after Nick Jr., replacing the original Noggin cable channel.
