Zihuatanejo was a drama, romance, and thriller series that was set on an island called Zihuatanejo. It followed therapist Yao Zi Han, who, after her patient’s suicide, took leave to escape her emotional struggles. She arrived at the island and encountered guesthouse owner Meng Qian, a former hypnotist who had been ostracized by the psychology community, along with other islanders dealing with their own personal issues.
