Yuki no Joou was an anime series that aired from May 22, 2005, to February 12, 2006. It was a fantasy adventure that told the story of Kai and Gerda, two close friends who lived together since childhood. Their peaceful life was disrupted when the Snow Queen appeared, bringing snow and wind, and a shard of mirror lodged into Kai's heart. This event led Kai to be taken away to the Snow Queen’s realm, prompting Gerda to embark on a perilous journey to find him, despite warnings from adults that Kai was already dead.
The series featured voice performances by Ayako Kawasumi as Greda, Mayo Suzukaze as the Snow Queen, and Rio Natsuki as Kai.
