Wrong Move was a series that explored the stressful and often fraught process of buying and selling property. The story centered on Michael and Catherine, a couple in their 40s, who were attempting to make a marriage-saving move into their dream home. They were selling to Stella and Juliette, who were expecting a baby, while those two were selling to first-time buyers Asif and Emily. The series depicted the interactions and conflicts among these households, especially as they faced the chaos caused by Detective Sergeant Trevor Bamford, a character obsessed with getting his money's worth. When Trevor called off the sale the night before, it set off a chain of events that led to a confrontation with deadly consequences.
