Is Wild Central America coming back?

Wild Central America ended on March 8, 2020, on National Geographic Wild.

This nature series featured Nigel Marven exploring the diverse wildlife and cultures of Central America. Filming took place across several countries, including Guatemala, Honduras, and Panama, where Nigel encountered a variety of animals and landscapes. The show showcased his adventures climbing ancient Maya ruins, trekking through jungles, and observing unique species such as colorful Quetzals, frog-eating bats, and Leatherback turtles, providing viewers with an immersive look at the region's natural beauty.

The series was a documentary-style program that premiered in 2020. It aimed to highlight the rich biodiversity and cultural heritage of Central America through Nigel Marven’s engaging travels and encounters with locals and scientists eager to share their knowledge.
