Is When Love Defaults coming back?

Investment banking analyst Jiang Yi's life collapses under the weight of an old financial scandal, relentless pressure from her family, and overwhelming debt. Just when she has nowhere left to turn, her ex-boyfriend Shen Yingzhou returns after three years—this time as the powerful new boss who holds her career in his hands.

Seeing exactly how desperate she has become, Shen Yingzhou offers her a deal: he will clear her debts in exchange for one year by his side. Jiang Yi knows the arrangement is partly meant to humiliate her, but with no other way out, she accepts. Their forced cohabitation quickly becomes an emotional tug-of-war as Shen Yingzhou shifts between possessive control, unexpected tenderness, and cold distance. With the real reason behind their breakup still unresolved and a larger financial conspiracy closing in around them, what began as a calculated transaction soon spirals completely out of control.
