When I Grow Up ended on 16 May 2019 on Channel 4. The show aired its entire first season from 2 May to 16 May 2019, consisting of three episodes.

When I Grow Up was a social experiment series that aired in 2019. It explored whether giving primary school children jobs they wouldn’t normally consider could influence how they see their futures. Over the course of a week, children aged seven to nine were allowed to join various companies, gaining insight into careers that were unfamiliar to them. The program aimed to shed light on social mobility and the opportunities available to young children.

It was a one-season series with a runtime of 60 minutes per episode.
