Is Weinerville coming back?
Weinerville (1993–1997) — comedy · children on Nickelodeon
About Weinerville
Weinerville ended on December 21, 1997. The show was a children's comedy program that aired on Nickelodeon from July 11, 1993, to December 21, 1997. It featured a giant puppet stage designed to look like a city, called Weinerville, and was hosted by Marc Weiner. The show gained popularity early on, initially running in a two-hour Sunday marathon before moving to weekday afternoons. It also hosted special events such as the Nickelodeon New Year's special from Times Square, where Marc and his characters celebrated with slime and countdown segments. Despite its success and additional specials, the show was not renewed for a third season, reportedly due to Nickelodeon shifting towards edgier and more subversive programming that did not align with a puppet-based children's show.
