Walter Melon was a children's animated comedy series that premiered in 1997. The series followed the adventures of Walter Melon, an enthusiastic average joe, and his geeky best friend, Bitterbug, as they worked as "heroes for hire." They stepped into the shoes of various famous fictional heroes when accidents or other issues prevented the originals from saving the day, often with the show's arch-villain responsible for the mishaps. The show was loosely based on the French comic strip "Achille Talon".
Each episode had a runtime of approximately 11 minutes.
