Wakaba Girl was a comedy anime series that premiered in July 2015. It centered around Wakaba, who appeared to be an elegant, wealthy girl but aspired to be a trendy gyaru. The show also featured Moeko, a pure and fairy-tale-like girl, Mao, who was capricious and behaved in her own way, and Nao, who had shifted from an athletic girl to a fujoshi who loved boys love stories.
The cast included Ari Ozawa as Wakaba Kohashi, M・A・O as Mao Kurokawa, Mikako Izawa as Moeko Tokita, Rie Murakawa as Nao Mashiba, Juri Kimura as Yuzuha Kohashi, and Azumi Asakura as Otoha Kohashi.
