It was an anime series based on the popular Virtua Fighter video game franchise that aired in 1995. The show followed the story of Akira, a martial artist who had lost the ability to see the mystical constellations that reveal a true warrior's destiny. Throughout the series, Akira wandered into the fighting ring and became entangled in an international conspiracy. Alongside characters from the games like Jacky, Sara, and Pai, he sought to break free from the conspiracy and regain his sense of purpose.
The series featured a cast including Maya Okamoto as Sarah Bryant, Naoko Matsui as Pai Chan, Shinichiro Miki as Akira Yuuki, and Yasunori Matsumoto as Jacky Bryant. It was a comedy-action anime with a runtime of 25 minutes per episode. The show was part of the early 1990s wave of video game adaptations and remains a part of the Virtua Fighter franchise's history.
