Valley of the Dinosaurs was a children's adventure series that premiered in 1974. The family faced daily challenges of survival and encountered various dinosaurs and other ancient creatures, forming alliances with some of the inhabitants of this lost world.

The series featured actors such as Shannon Farnon as Kim Butler, Kathy Gori as Katie Butler, Jackie Earle Haley as Greg Butler, and Mike Road as John Butler. Don Messick provided narration, and Alan Oppenheimer played Gorok.
