Vacationland was a drama and crime series that followed top LAPD detective Grace Chen after she resigned from her job in disgust. She retired to the quirky village of Serenity, Maine, determined to put her past behind her. When Serenity's sheriff was murdered, Grace was drawn back into crime fighting by Joey, a local veterinarian and amateur sleuth committed to protecting the town she loved. The series explored how Grace's big-city detective skills combined with Joey's knowledge of Maine to form an unlikely but effective team.
