MVD Captain Aglaia Mezentseva and investigator Vsevolod Kosinsky, one of the best specialists in child abduction cases, are unraveling the case of the missing 5-year-old grandson of world-renowned conductor Mark Kretchetov. The child mysteriously disappeared during a walk with his nanny, and the woman herself was hit on the head and lost her memory. Literally all members of the Kretchetov family fall under suspicion, and Kosinsky spares no one in his pursuit of results. Aglaia disapproves of Kosinsky's methods, but nevertheless becomes his best student.
