The plot revealed a conspiracy that reached the highest levels of power as journalist Eltsov and investigator Anokhin delved into the case, uncovering links between seemingly unrelated crimes.

The series starred Daniil Strakhov as Yuri Eltsov, with other main cast members including Андрей Чернышов as Igor Eltsov, Павел Трубинер as Machaon, and Евгений Харитонов as Alexander Anokhin.
