Is Λωξάντρα coming back?

Λωξάντρα ended on August 16, 1980, on ΕΡΤ. The show concluded its single season after airing its final episode on that date.

It was a Greek drama series set in Constantinoupolis during the late 1800s and early 1900s, depicting the life of Loxandra, a mother and wife from a well-to-do family. The series portrayed her simple optimism, her faith in the Virgin Mary, and her love of life as she navigated a period marked by revolutions, palace coups, massacres, and the upheavals of World War I. The story reflected a time when neighbors shared close bonds, helping each other through both joyous celebrations and hardships, such as aiding persecuted Armenians or sharing meals during Easter.

The episodes each ran for approximately 45 minutes, and the series was a portrayal of a bygone era in Greek history, emphasizing community, faith, and resilience amidst turbulent times.
