During the competition, renowned choreographers and ballet masters worked with the contestants over several months, and their performances were evaluated by a jury comprising world ballet stars.

The show premiered on 21 October 2012 and has had five seasons, with the most recent season ending on 20 April 2024. It featured a format where talented ballet dancers competed for recognition and prizes. The cast included hosts Andrejs Žagars and Ilze Liepa. The show’s episodes had a runtime of approximately 123 minutes.
