Towa no Yugure is a science fiction anime series that premiered in September 2025. It follows Akira, a male high school student who was placed into cold sleep and awakened 200 years later in a world devastated by war. Society is now governed by a unified organization called OWEL, and the traditional concept of marriage has been replaced by a system called "Elsie" or "LC." Upon waking, Akira encounters Yugure, an android who resembles his former girlfriend, Towasa, and she immediately proposes marriage, leaving him confused. Believing Towasa might still be alive somewhere in this altered world, Akira embarks on a journey with Yugure to uncover the truth.
It was a sci-fi adventure that explored themes of love, identity, and societal change, set in a distant future. The show was originally broadcast in 2025 and consisted of 12 episodes, concluding in December of that year.
