Tokyo Mew Mew was an anime series that first premiered in 2002. It was a fantasy adventure targeted at children, telling the story of Ichigo Momomiya and four other girls who gained animal DNA and became part of Project μ to protect the Earth from alien threats. The series followed their efforts to balance everyday life with their secret identities as magical girls fighting alien invaders.
The cast included Saki Nakajima as Ichigo Momomiya, Yumi Kakazu as Mint Aizawa, Hisayo Mochizuki as Purin Fon, Junko Noda as Zakuro Fujiwara, and Kumi Sakuma as Lettuce Midorikawa. The show received a rating of 4.8 on TVMaze and each episode had a runtime of approximately 30 minutes.
