Thunderbolt Fantasy was an action, adventure, and fantasy series that originally premiered on July 8, 2016. It was set in an Eastern-styled fantasy world where a brother and sister team of sacred guardians faced threats from the Xuan Gui Zong, minions of Miè Tian Hai, who sought the Tian Xing Jiàn sword they possessed. The show followed their struggles and battles, including the defeat of the brother and the sister's escape, as well as encounters with wandering swordsmen and mystical forces.
The series featured actors such as Kousuke Toriumi as Lin Xue Ya and Junichi Suwabe as Shang Bu Huan. The show had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode.
