The Unseen ended on February 2, 2026, after its first season. The show concluded its run on Tencent QQ, with all 24 episodes aired between January 23 and February 2, 2026.

The series was a drama, crime, and mystery show that followed blogger Shen Man as she investigated her sister's alleged suicide. Her investigation led her into a strange case involving obstetrician Ai Xia's hysterectomy, which made Shen Man the prime suspect. Female police officer Jiang Li assisted in clearing her name. A single postcard connecting the two cases compelled these two women to work together. Soon after, a second murder occurred, intensifying the mystery and suspense.

Each episode had a runtime of approximately 20 minutes.
