The first season was a fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin's lost expedition to the Arctic between 1845 and 1848, while the second season, titled Infamy, was set during World War II in an American-run Japanese internment camp. The third season, which began airing in 2026, continues to blend historical elements with suspenseful storytelling.
