Is The Strangerers coming back?

The series was a comedy science-fiction that first premiered in 2000. It followed a group of evolved vegetable aliens disguised as humans who landed on Earth to complete a secret mission. When their Supervisor was decapitated, two inexperienced Cadets, using their own language and knowledge from old 1950s movies, navigated the crazy world around them while trying to avoid detection by various shady organizations.

The cast included Mark Williams as Cadet Flynn, Jack Docherty as Cadet Niven, Sarah Alexander as Rina, and Mark Heap as Harry. Milton Jones played The Supervisor, Morwenna Banks was The Super-Supervisor, Paul Darrow appeared as C.D., and David Walliams portrayed Rats.
