Is The State coming back?

The State ended on August 23, 2017, after its four-episode run on Channel 4. The series aired in August 2017 and has not been renewed or continued since then.

The show was a drama and war series that depicted the experiences of four British men and women who left everything behind to join Isis in Syria. It was based on extensive research and was created by award-winning producer Peter Kosminsky. The series aimed to portray the personal stories and circumstances that led these individuals to become involved with the terrorist organization.

The cast included Sam Otto as Jalal Hossein, Ony Uhiara as Shakira Boothe, and Hiam Abbass as Umm Salamah. The show received a rating of 7.3 on TVMaze and each episode had a runtime of 60 minutes.
