Over a span of three months, office workers, full-time parents, long-term couples, and platonic friends balanced their everyday routines with intensive dance training to learn six classic routines. The series explored their efforts to improve and whether consistent practice could lead to success in the competitive dance world.

The series featured narration by Stephen Mangan. It was a six-episode season, each lasting approximately 60 minutes.
