Is The Runaway coming back?

The Runaway ended on May 5, 2011, on Sky Showcase. The series concluded after its six-episode run, which aired from March 31 to May 5, 2011.

The show was a drama and crime series that followed the lives of two childhood sweethearts, Cathy Connor and Eamonn Docherty, in the East End of London. It was based on a story by best-selling crime writer Martina Cole, depicting their struggles with crime, corruption, and personal hardship. Cathy, the daughter of a prostitute, faced a difficult life, especially after she was forced to protect her mother from violence, leading her to run away from care and experience life on the streets. Meanwhile, Eamonn was climbing the ranks of the local criminal underworld.

The cast included Joanna Vanderham as Cathy, Mark Womack as Eamonn Doherty, and Alan Cumming as Desrae. Other notable actors were Ken Stott, Jack O'Connell, Keith Allen, and Kierston Wareing.
