The Rain ended on August 6, 2020, after its third season aired on Netflix.

The series was a science-fiction drama that premiered in 2018. It was set ten years after a deadly virus wiped out most of the population in Scandinavia, following two young siblings on a perilous journey to find safety. Guided only by their father's notebook, they joined a group of other survivors and faced numerous dangers in a world transformed by the pandemic.

The show featured actors such as Alba August as Simone, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard as Martin, and Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen as Rasmus. It was rated 6.5 on TVMaze and had a runtime of 51 minutes per episode.
