It followed a former secret agent, known as "Number Six," who was abducted to a mysterious Village where individuals who knew too much were kept under surveillance. Throughout the series, Number Six repeatedly tried to escape and resisted the Village authorities, uncovering the secrets of his captors and the purpose of the Village.
