The New Perry Mason ended on January 20, 1974. This short-lived series aired its entire first season from September 16, 1973, to January 20, 1974, on CBS.
The show was a drama, crime, and legal series that was a revival of the long-running hit television series about the famous defense attorney created by Erle Stanley Gardner. It was not to be confused with the later TV movies starring Raymond Burr and Barbara Hale. The series followed Perry Mason as he took on legal cases, often involving complex criminal investigations and courtroom drama.
The cast included Monte Markham as Perry Mason, Brett Somers as Gertrude Lade, Harry Guardino as Hamilton Burger, Sharon Acker as Della Street, Albert Stratton as Paul Drake, and Dane Clark as Lt. Arthur Tragg.
